MYTH
DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY IS EXPENSIVE
Time and again we hear this myth from offices that have yet to go digital. I'm convinced the reason for this is fairly simple. The way we pay for film versus digital radiographs is exactly inverse to the other.
If you were to open an office and start with film, your upfront costs would be fairly minimal. You would need some film, some chemistry and a processor. (Since you would need equipment to generate the x-rays for either film or digital, we'll leave that cost out).
