NEW YORK & CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Wellogic and PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Industries Group announced today that they have formed an alliance to collaboratively help health systems, regional health information organizations (RHIOs) and communities implement health information exchange (HIE) initiatives, enabling them to integrate and share patient information electronically. Regional health information exchanges have become a critical building block in federal efforts to build an interoperable National Health Information Network designed to facilitate electronic health records for all Americans, reduce the nation's healthcare costs and improve the quality of patient care.
