GM advertising chief quits

DETROIT - Mike Jackson, General Motors' vice president of North American marketing and advertising, will resign effective June 15, the company said last week. Jackson, 50, will return to his home in Southern California to spend time with his family before pursuing other business opportunities, a GM spokeswoman said.
