Auto industry veteran Fin O'Neill helped merge Reynolds and Reynolds Co. and Universal Computer Systems Inc. and says it's now time for the "next chapter in my life.''

Last year, O'Neill was CEO of Reynolds, the largest U.S. supplier of auto dealership computer software and services. Then last summer Bob Brockman and his private, Houston-based Universal Computer Systems launched a takeover bid for the company.
