QUARTERBACKS

Dennis Dixon began the spring atop the depth chart and remained there throughout. His scrambling ability sets him apart from the others, and his confidence and leadership have improved. Brady Leaf struggled early in camp but got better as it wore on. Of last fall's three freshmen, Nate Costa has the edge, but Cody Kempt was the most improved. Those four plus Justin Roper man the position in the fall, with no incoming freshmen.

RUNNING BACKS
