St. Mary's Episcopal Church - University of Oregon School of Music faculty members Ann Tedards, Eric Mentzel and Laura Zaerr will perform "Golden Apples of the Sun" Sunday at 4 p.m. at the church, 166 E. 13th, Eugene.

Composed by Hal Owen, a UO music professor emeritus, the work is a song cycle of Celtic poetry for soprano, tenor and harp.

A free will offering will be taken, with proceeds benefiting the St. Mary's music program.

"Kirkin O' the Tartans," the annual celebration of St. Andrew's Day, will follow at 5 p.m. Debbie Diedrich, Linda Danielson and the Children's Celtic Choir will perform, and bagpiper Wylie McKinnon will play during the traditional blessing of Scottish tartans.
