A group of homeless people from Terre Haute, Ind., has been using their newly discovered acting abilities to uplift themselves even as their witty performances uplift others.

Churches in the Northwest suburbs, including Schaumburg and Park Ridge, have been among the most recent to provide audiences for the revived Off The Streets theater troupe.
