May 3 - KMA Global Solutions International Targets Hong Kong as Its First Full Scale Production Facility Outside of North America

KMA Global Solutions International, Inc. (OTCBB:KMAG) recently announced that it is taking steps to drive a significant increase in its production capacity as a result of the opening of a new factory and sales office located in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong. KMA's new facility will be principally engaged in the manufacturing, quality control and distribution of the company's NEXTag sew-in source tagging solution used in apparel items sold around the world.

Initial production should be underway by the end of May and fully on line by the end of June. The factory is initially expected to produce about 2.5 million units per week however, Jeffrey D. Reid, Chief Executive Officer of KMA Global Solutions International, Inc., stated that a number of planned expansions will ultimately result in a capacity in excess of 250 million units annually, by 2010.

Mr. Reid went on to say, "We are excited about expanding our manufacturing capacity internationally. This latest addition physically brings us much closer to a great many of our customers and we expect that will translate into an increase in customer satisfaction. It will also result in a dramatic reduction in freight costs and delivery timelines, and will shorten our supply line for raw materials, ultimately leading to lower operating costs and improved margins. We anticipate a smooth transition in bringing this latest plant on line and are grateful to our dedicated team for their efforts in seeing everything come together so quickly."

In recent years, retailers have increasingly demanded retail floor ready merchandise, which includes Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) protection.
