Why buy Chinese ingredients?
What is the matter with our country that everything we have has to come from China?
Yes, right now I am thinking of my two pets, a small dog named Rocky and a cat named Cenny, who mean a lot to me. I have spent a lot of money trying to keep them well, and I feel sick because the food that they eat may or may not now be safe. This is all because to save money companies buy ingredients from China, which has no rules at all for food safety.
Now I ask you: Is it worth it when for just a few dollars more they could buy ingredients from America and not take the chance on our pets' health?

At the Eugene City Council's April 16 workshop, a panel of experts offered downtown solutions ranging from the incremental, localized approach favored by landscape architect Jerry Diethelm to the master-plan buyout approach favored by Oakway Center's Steve Korth. A surprising number of heads nodded when Korth stated, "There's a risk of too much public involvement." To clarify he added, "There might be too many chiefs and not enough Indians."
This statement reveals much. The Eugene City Council's vision statement reads: "Value all people, encouraging respect and appreciation for diversity, equity, justice and social well-being. We will embrace our differences as the source of our strength, and the basis for our success."
