DeVry Inc. (NYSE: DV), an international higher education company, reported its financial results for the fiscal 2007 third quarter and the nine-month period ended March 31, 2007, and spring enrollment at DeVry University and Ross University.
Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2007 increased 12.5 percent to $247.8 million, compared to $220.2 million for the same quarter one year ago. For the nine-month period of fiscal 2007, revenues were up 12.6 percent to $706.0 million compared to $626.9 million last year.
Net income increased 46.2 percent for the quarter to $22.9 million, or $0.32 per fully diluted share, compared to $15.7 million, or $0.22 per fully diluted share, for the same period last year. For the first nine months of fiscal 2007, net income increased 92.8 percent to $60.2 million, or $0.85 per fully diluted share, compared to $31.2 million, or $0.44 per fully diluted share, for the first nine months of fiscal 2006.
