Article Excerpt - Peter R. Conrad and Jeffrey S. Lettow, both freshman from Mount Prospect, were recognized by Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, at April 6 Honors Day ceremonies. Conrad achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or better and Lettow achieved an average of 3.9 or better since beginning their college careers.
- Laura Murray of Prospect Heights was initiated into Illinois State University's chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society at a spring 2003 ceremony in Normal.
- Kevin R. McGlynn of Mount Prospect graduated May 11 with a bachelor's degree from Loras College, DuBuque, Iowa. He majored in history and politics.
- Krishna M.B. Ranjani, Mount Prospect, graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Benedictine University, Lisle.
- Kathryn Ann Burke of Prospect Heights earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the spring semester.
- Michelle Rebecca Kornelly of Mount Prospect earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the spring semester.
- Whitney Ellen Olson of Mount Prospect earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the spring semester.
- Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington named the following students to the dean's list for the spring semester.
Mount Prospect: Gretchen Aicher, Brian DeCaluwe, Stephanie Hajdu, Laura Higginson, Megan Mondi, Jennifer O'Neill, Lea Panek, Jay Ratliff and Natalie Studwell.
Prospect Heights: Ryan McGuiness, Edward Neumann and Darcy Thompson.
