(IBI - TSX Venture), (the "Company"), a junior international mining and investment company, has taken further steps to establish and develop The Uganda Vermiculite Institute ("Institute") and to expand the use of vermiculite in East Africa for enhancing the growth and yield of certain high value crops.

The Company has applied to the Maendeleo Agricultural Technology Transfer Fund, known as MATF, ("Fund") to form a strategic partnership to assist in the establishment of The Uganda Vermiculite Institute.
