C FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. -- More than 600 Army Reserve engineers representing six Regional Readiness Commands from around the country, participated in a real world training event called Operation Essayons at Fort Hunter Liggett during the summer of 2006.

According to CPT Brian Yerby, plans officer of the 926th Engineer Group, Operation Essayons is a USARC-sponsored exercise and part of the Army Reserve Training Strategy in support of the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) concept.
