Orlando, Fla. -- Severely wounded Army Reserve Soldiers now have access to a program that can help them rebuild their lives.

About 120 Army Reserve Soldiers currently participate in the Army's Wounded Warrior Program, known by its acronym of "AW2."

The AW2 program was established in 2005 from what used to be called the Disabled Soldier Support System. "Its goal is to help severely injured Soldiers get the care they need so they can rebuild their lives," said COL Mary Carstensen, program director.
