- Thieves stole two Re/Max Advantage sale signs March 23 out of a yard at a home for sale on the 26300 block of Orchard Avenue, police said. Total value was estimated at $110.

Fox Lake

- David G. Toporek, 18, 1805 W. Channel Beach Drive, Johnsburg, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. March 24 and charged with local ordinance battery after he pushed a 40-year-old man in the chest during an argument in an apartment parking lot on the 200 block of Route 59, Ingleside, police said. His court date was not available.

Grayslake

- Thieves stole a lawn ornament overnight March 21 to 22 out of a front lawn at a home on Ziegler Drive near Grayslake Middle School, police said. Damage was estimated under $300.

Gurnee

- Lindsey A. Steffens, 18, 7746 Milan Way, Gurnee, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. March 21 and charged with theft after a security agent for Hollister in Gurnee Mills, 6170 Route 132, discovered...
