The Secret to success

Blockbuster best seller The Secret promises to bring readers health, wealth and happiness. But the self-help compendium edited by Rhonda Byrne might be giving the biggest boost to some of the gurus whose advice is compiled in its pages.

Atria Books, which published The Secret in November, has already signed up Notes From the Universe, by "Secret Teacher'' Mike Dooley.

According to sources, another "Secret Teacher''--Lisa Nichols, who was a guest on Oprah when the talk-show queen devoted two days to the book in February--is shopping a deal. William Morris agent Andy McNicol is representing James Ray, another author featured in The Secret.

Even self-help authors not directly associated with the blockbuster book are in vogue....
