Bay Street continued its decline Wednesday, as a disappointing read on U.S. durable goods pushed the main Canadian stock index lower still. Despite gains for the energy group, the TSX composite index slipped 21.61 points or 0.16% when it was announced that demand for durable goods, which are intended to last ten years or more, rose 2.5% last month. Investors had predicted orders to rise 3.5%, and the shortfall rekindled worries about the state of the U.S. economy. Despite the day's overall losses, shareholders of Vantex Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:VTX) were able see success Thursday Morning, experiencing a 13.89% up-tick accompanied by a trading volume of approximately 235,500.
