JACKSON -- When Lauren Laws discovered that her husband, John Laws, couldn't hammer a nail, she was quite surprised.

"I think she tried to get the marriage annulled due to misrepresentation," said John Laws, with a chuckle. "But I did come by this honestly. I got these skills straight from Dad. Thank goodness for battery-powered screwdrivers."

For Lauren Laws, damage control wasn't needed. In a letter of recommendation for his inclusion in the Top 40 Under 40 class, she wrote that "(John) is truly an outstanding young man, and he usually ends up in a leadership role in most anything he gets involved...
