Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene has a new name, a new boss and a hefty new price tag for renovating the 70-year-old campus.

PeaceHealth officials announced Monday that the hospital will be called Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District, and that Tim Herrmann, a longtime PeaceHealth manager, is the new hospital administrator.

They also said the cost of renovating the campus has increased 59 percent from earlier estimates, from $61 million to $97 million.
