After three quarters, Jacobs found itself in an unexpected position: trailing Rolling Meadows by 10 points.

But the Golden Eagles had been in similar situations before, so they didn't panic. They methodically chipped away at the Mustangs' lead and ultimately pulled out a 62-56 semifinal win in the Class AA Dundee-Crown boys basketball regional Tuesday night.

Jacobs will play the winner of tonight's game between Dundee- Crown and Wheeling on Friday for the regional title.
