SunCom Wireless Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: SWSH) up 8.6% on 1 million shares traded.
SunCom Wireless is a leader in offering digital wireless communications services to consumers in the Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. SunCom Wireless Holdings, Inc. recently reported financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2006. Adjusted EBITDA in the fourth quarter was $30.8 million compared with ($13.6) million in the fourth quarter of 2005, driven by higher average revenue per user (ARPU), lower operating costs and an increase in the number of subscribers as compared to the fourth quarter of 2005. Full year 2006 adjusted EBITDA was $92.9 million compared with $31.1 million for 2005. Net cash used in operating activities was $28.5 million for the fourth quarter versus $32.8 million a year ago while net cash used in operations for the full year was $76.5 million compared with $73.3 million for 2005.
