HARRISBURG - Terry Crabb spent much of his energy during timeouts drawing up elaborate defensive schemes.

The Harrisburg coach had a much simpler offensive strategy: Give the ball to Justin Smucker.

For three quarters, both plans were flawless.

Smucker scored a game-high 25 points, and after quieting seventh-ranked Creswell's vaunted offense for most of the game, the 10th-ranked Eagles held off a late rally for a 51-43 PacWest Conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.
