MIAMI - Simon Cowell may have trashed them on national television, but a pair of "American Idol" rejects struck a chord with the Bears Tuesday.

Kenneth Briggs and Jonathan Jayne - the duo whose unfortunate Idol auditions this season sparked a national debate on whether the hit show had become unnecessarily cruel -popped up on media day as Super Bowl contributors for "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
