Sarto errs on cause of east-side demise

Carpentersville Village President Bill Sarto cannot honestly believe the proposed ordinance supported by Trustees Judy Sigwalt and Paul Humpfer is the cause of business failures on the east side.

He is dead wrong and doesn't understand the problem.

Businesses left because of the landlord, Besinger Properties. These are the same people that own most of the east side, whom Sarto joined in opposition to the ordinance.

It's hard to see the problem when you are right in the middle of it....
