SPRINGFIELD - The newly formed Springfield anti-gang task force held its second meeting Monday, seeking to tackle a problem it believes is growing unabated.

While members could not agree on what to call cliques of troubled youths, the task force - made up of a dozen representatives from the school district, youth agencies and other concerned citizens - found common ground in brainstorming programs to stem their expansion.
