CORVALLIS - Nobody said it would be easy.
And nobody knows that better than Josh Tarver, Oregon State's rookie point guard who is trying to stay afloat in the rough seas of the Pac-10 Conference.
"Without question," said Jay John, the OSU men's basketball team coach, "the Pac-10 experience, the first nine games, have been a huge eye-opener for Josh."
Collectively, the first half of the conference season has been a poke in the eye - one win, eight losses and a ton of frustration.
