Paris - Alcatel-Lucent (Paris: Euronext and NYSE: ALU) announced today that it has provided, together with its systems integration partner Fiberdata, an advanced fiber access solution to Jnkping Energi, a Swedish electric company. Alcatel-Lucent's gigabit passive optical networking (GPON) solution is allowing Jnkping Energi to deliver triple play services (voice, video and data) while realizing the benefits of increased reliability and lower maintenance expenses.
