The company makes a range of RVs, including motor homes and travel trailers. Brands include the well-known Airstream and Dutchmen lines. It is also a leading US producer of small and midsize buses. Thor has bus and RV plants, as well as distributors, throughout the US and Canada. It also operates a joint venture with Cruise America that rents RVs to the public. Co-founder and CEO Wade Thompson owns nearly 30% of Thor, while the other co-founder and vice chairman Peter Orthwein owns almost 5%.

Shares were down 7% as the company investigates accounting issues.
