By providing set of pre-designed templates and color schemes, SiteAssist simplifies the process of creating a website using a wizard interface to help users select a design and customize the site navigation. While SiteAssist does a good job of simplifying the site creation process, it is by no means a 'no-brainer,' still requiring some understanding about general site organization, as well as at least some background editing and maintaining site content in Dreamweaver.

GETTING STARTED WITH SITEASSIST

WebAssist is installed as a Dreamweaver extension in the Macromedia Extension Manager. This may be a bit unusual to some users, but installation is actually quite painless. When you double-click the installation file, the Extension Manager opens automatically. After accepting the Extension Manager license (which you must do each time you open it), the program installs and includes a brief explanation of the new features in the upgrade and how to access the extension inside Dreamweaver.
