Media outlets covering Egypt lately have been nearly unanimous in reporting economic progress. Notably, the international investment community appears to be expressing increasing confidence in the country's reforms.

Much of the credit for the reforms, which include large scale privatization and an enhanced openness to foreign business, goes to a liberalized cabinet led by the current energetic prime minister.
