When her brother died in Panama in the 1920s, leaving a wife and seven children behind, Page Ogden's great aunt Tia rescued the family from destitution.
"A single woman, Tia brought this young brood to Adams County and raised and educated them all," explained Ogden, whose father, Woodrow, was among those rescued.
