Not when the Ducks trailed Oregon State by 11 points, even if it was the biggest deficit of the season.
`It was just kind of how the game went,' Bryce Taylor said. `It was early in the game and we feel we can force enough turnovers to cut down that lead down. We weren't really too concerned.'
And why show any angst in the closing minutes, when what had been an Oregon lead of 12 points was suddenly down to three?
`We've been in situations like that,' Maarty Leunen said. `We've learned from the past and that always sticks with you ... you always remember your lessons from before.
`Being juniors and seniors, we've been through this, we've been in close games, we've just got to stick to how we play the game and stay confident.'
So give the Ducks a check, check, check and check on that list, and also mark them as still unbeaten, too, as 20th-ranked Oregon (13-0) opened its Pac-10 schedule with a 76-73 victory over the Beavers (8-6) as 8,719 watched in Gill Coliseum on Saturday.
`It's definitely good to start league with a win and to get a win over your rival in their house,' UO senior Aaron Brooks said. `When we lose a game to them, we get it pretty bad so it's a different feeling leaving here with a win.'
