D303 school board makes wrong choices

On Dec. 11, the St. Charles School District 303 board voted to switch a large portion of the west side from North High School to East High School.

They grandfathered the children already at North, and the 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade siblings of current North students.

Let me start out by saying that grandfathering is the only solution for families, and the board did the right thing by approving it.
