PONTIAC - What's the first clue that this 76th annual Pontiac Holiday Tournament isn't your normal holiday tournament?

Start with the 76th.

The first Pontiac Holiday Tournament was played in 1926. The names and teams who have been part of this tournament read like a who's who of all-time Illinois greats. Check that, of all-time greats anywhere.

Before Adolph Rupp won 875 games at Kentucky, he coached Freeport at the 1928 and 1929 Pontiac Holiday Tournaments.

Dike Edelman, Dick Van Scyoc, Bob Bender, Audrie Matthews, Bruce Douglas, Kenny Battle, Frank Williams, Dave Corzine, Jerry Colangelo, Dave Robisch and literally hundreds of other stars have all left their mark.
