It licensed marketing rights for the drug from Korean firm LG Life Sciences. Oscient has ended an agreement with Auxilium Pharmaceuticals to co-promote TESTIM testosterone gel in order to focus on marketing anti-cholesterol drug ANTARA, which it acquired from Reliant Pharmaceuticals in 2006.

Shares were up 27% after amending its license and option agreement with LG Life Sciences, Ltd. for the Company's antibiotic product.
