Terra Energy & Resource Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:TEGR)- Thursday's shares closed down 3.85% with a price of $0.250. The volume was at 26,000. The company announced that it has received the third $375,000 progress payment on a $2.5 million contract the Company signed with a major international oil and gas exploration firm in August 2006. In accordance with the agreement, the Company has delivered its final STeP analysis report to the client. The remaining $1 Million payment concluding the contract is expected from the client shortly. In preparing its analysis, the Company utilizes proprietary STeP technology which is based on interpretation of satellite data to effectively identify oil and gas as well as other minerals subsurface, on or off-shore. Terra Energy & Resource Technologies, Inc. conducts its operations through its wholly owned subsidiary, Terra Insight Corporation (TIC). "We have delivered our reports on schedule, and we are informed that we will receive the last payment of $1 million shortly. This reflects the on-schedule performance of the Company in delivering its third stage, and final, STeP report pursuant to this important contract with one of the world leaders in off-shore oil and gas exploration and production.
