ATLA is fighting to preserve civil justice on many fronts--in Congress and the state legislatures, in the media and communications arena, and in courthouses around the country. The Center for Constitutional Litigation (CCL) is on the front lines of the war in the courts, turning back multiple assaults on our clients' rights.

Federal preemption. CCL attorney Lou Bograd, working with Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, has taken on the Bush administration's attempts at stealth tort "reform" in a case challenging an assertion in the FDA's final rule on drug label warnings that purports to preempt state law.
