Before changing the subject from the harrowing mid-term election season just completed, I spent a few hours pondering whether or not anything of interest remained to be discussed. Keep in mind that in this hyper-partisan political world of ours, it is painfully difficult for one to be viewed as neutral no matter how hard he tries. With that as a disclaimer I will offer that there is one word that has caught my attention as it has been uttered with increasing frequency by pundits on either side of the ideological argument. That word is "populism."
