Employee-assistance programs are an important part of employee benefits packages. These programs offer help with a broad range of problems affecting employees' personal and working lives and are administered in a variety of ways with organizations in Mississippi.

For more than l0 years, BancorpSouth has had a program to provide counseling on anything employees need, including substance abuse, smoking, troubled teenagers, emotional, marital and financial issues. Family members are eligible, too. It is administered through a third-party source.
