The words "affordable housing" might seem like an oxymoron when it comes to DuPage County.

But advocates say not only is it possible to build more homes for moderate wage earners in the state's priciest housing market. - they now have a blueprint for making it happen.

The DuPage Housing Action Coalition and DuPage Homeownership Center unveiled a strategy Wednesday for overcoming the barriers to affordable housing.
