Lane County still offering flu vaccinations

Lane County Public Health's last big public flu-shot clinic takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Wheeler Pavilion at the Lane Events Center.

A flu shot takes about two weeks to be fully effective so a vaccination now will help assure protection into the spring, when flu viruses are circulating.

Flu vaccinations cost $23. Lane County Public Health accepts most Medicare and Oregon Health Plan coverage....
