PLANO, Texas, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems Corporation announced today that it has been selected as one of eight prime contractors for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Office of Information (VHA OI) VistA Contractor Services (VCS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), with a $1.02 billion maximum aggregate value.

Perot Systems will have the opportunity to help the VA maintain and sustain VistA, the VA's advanced clinical and administrative system used by more than 157 VA health care facilities and 887 ambulatory care and community- based outpatient clinics...
