PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A Saudi/Italian joint venture was recently established in view of building several ready-made concrete plants in the Kingdom. The partners in the planned undertaking include the Italy-based ITALCEMENTI GROUP and the local ARABIAN CEMENT CO.

However, no details regarding the size of the planned investments has yet been revealed. Nevertheless, the 2 companies have applied for a license from the SAUDI ARABIAN GENERAL INVESTMENT AUTHORITY in order to form a limited liability company that will be in charge of the project.
