LA BELLE, Fla., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alico, Inc., a land management company, announced net earnings for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006 of $109 thousand, or $0.02 per share, compared with net earnings of $2.5 million, or $0.34 per share, during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2005. For the year ended August 31, 2006, net earnings were $6.5 million, or $0.88 per share, compared with $6.1 million, or $0.83 per share, during the fiscal year ended August 31, 2005. The current year results were impacted by an accrual of $3.3 million related to ongoing IRS audits.

Operating revenues during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006 totaled $14.6 million, compared with $9.2 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2005. Operating revenues for the fiscal year 2006 were $77.4 million compared with $55.5 million for the fiscal year 2005....
