With the Fall 2006 issue of the Transportation Journal, the editorship of the journal passes from the capable hands of Dr. John C. Spychalski, professor of supply chain management at The Pennsylvania State University, to the equally capable hands of Dr. Martin Dresner, professor of logistics, business, and public policy at the University of Maryland. John Spychalski became the editor of the Transportation Journal in 1978.
