Business is working out for Bally Total Fitness Holding (NYSE:BFT). The company is the largest fitness center operator in the US, with about 400 gyms in 29 states, Canada, Mexico, and Asia. Most of its locations do business under its flagship Bally Total Fitness brand. The company also operates ten upscale gyms as Bally Sports Clubs. Other facilities operate as Pinnacle Fitness and Sports Clubs of Canada. Bally's nearly 4 million members have access to pools, aerobic programs, running tracks, and racquet courts, as well as personal trainers and sports medicine services. Bally also markets private-label nutritional products and sells health-related products in most of its clubs, as well as in some 7,000 retail outlets.

Shares were down 2% after $900,000 bonus paid to former chairman and chief executive.
