It's open house time in Batavia. It's the time that schools open their doors and invite parents in to meet the teachers, learn about the curriculum and view the classrooms.

At the elementary level, hallways are crowded, classrooms filled. At the middle school, the parking lots will overflow with cars as parents rush in to meet the teachers and sign up for conferences.
