No room to criticize coroner's budget

I have no personal problem with the DuPage County Board looking into eliminating the coroner's office in exchange for a medical examiner. But as I read the article in your Aug. 4 paper, "Coroner's office takes heat on overtime, spending," I was shaking my head over DuPage County Board Chairman Robert Schillerstrom's comment, "They agreed to the budget that was put before them. And now they're not complying with it."
