They're baaaack!

The Greater Woodfield hospitality industry sees a rebound in the latest national trends and slow, but sustained growth in local hotel occupancies through the first half of 2004.

"We believe the latest research indicates a recovery is under way and that our hotel occupancies will continue to improve in the third and fourth quarters," said Tom Rivera, president of the Greater Woodfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, which represents the tourism industries for 13 Northwest and West suburban communities.

Visitors are back - maybe not completely back to the days of the new millennium rollover, but in recent weeks the hospitality industry is showing signs of a recovery...
