MMC plant offers custom-color, on-demand concrete.

JACKSON -- On May 31, MMC Materials Inc. cut the ribbon on a new plant that was five years in the making, and represents another innovation from the company that has been around since 1927. MMC believes the new concrete facility with its custom, on-demand color system is the wave of the future and the first of its kind in Mississippi.

"Out west, custom-color concrete is common. I've been told that every concrete company in Las Vegas offers custom color," said Stanley Mangum, vice president and general manager of MMC's Metro Jackson River Area. "We believe it's the wave of the future."
